Yale Women of LA Potluck: "Disorders Before, During & After Yale”
Part of a continuing series that began with the celebration of forty years of women at Yale.

Join author Aimee Liu (Yale '75) for a candid conversation about eating disorders before, during, and after Yale. How big a problem is this? Are highly competitive colleges breeding grounds for these illnesses? Who's vulnerable, and why? What can and should students and administration at Yale do to mitigate the risk and help those who are suffering?

Aimee Liu is the author of three books about eating disorders, including Gaining:The Truth About Eating Disorders and Restoring Our Bodies, Reclaiming Our Lives. She is also the author of three novels and is on the faculty of Goddard College's MFA program in creative writing.

We are lucky to have this free event at Aimee's home. Ample unrestricted street parking. Please bring a dish or a drink to share.
