Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr Day and help the homeless!
   
This is a joint project between the Yale Black Alumni Association of Los Angeles (YBAA - LA) and the Yale Club of Los Angeles Service Committee.

Enjoy a private tour of the Civil Rights Museum at the Ted Watkins Center for Communication at WLCAC. WLCAC is the oldest African American community agency in the Greater Watts area. In additon to hosting cultural events,such as the museum, WLCAC services the homeless and needy throughout South Los Angeles.

The Civil Rights Museum holds cultural relics and photographs from the 1950's, 60's and 70's. Following the tour, attendees are free to browse the exhibit.

Admission is free but attendees are asked to bring canned food items to be donated to the homeless in the area.
