Special family-oriented Halloween concert with Arthur B. Rubinstein, Yale '58

On Sunday, October 28, Arthur B. Rubinstein, Symphony In The Glen  and Nederlander Concerts will once again summon goblins, ghouls  and all things ghostly to the Greek Theatre for a symphonic Halloween  extravaganza for the whole family.

Special family-oriented Halloween concert with Arthur B. Rubinstein,  Yale '58 and the Symphony in the Glen. The concert (7:00 PM) will  include Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain, Bach’s Toccata, Grieg’s Hall of the Mountain King, John Williams’ Devil Dance from Witches of  Eastwick and Maestro Rubinstein's symphonic setting of Edgar Allan  Poe's Gothic masterpiece, "The Tell-Tale Heart", read by special guest (TBA). MUSYCA and the Colburn School Children’s Choir, led by  Misha Shtangrud, will join Symphony In The Glen for music from Harry  Potter.

Festivities begin at 5:30 PM with attendees arriving early to make the  rounds at Trick or Treat Village in the Greek Theatre Plaza to fill trick- or-treat bags with Halloween goodies! Costumes are encouraged!

THE SPIDER AND THE FLY – World Premiere of Arthur B. Rubinstein’s new setting for Mary Howitt’s poem read by Anne-Marie Johnson (In The Heat of the Night, That’s So Raven)

And Edgar Allan Poe’s Gothic masterpiece
THE TELL-TALE HEART read by a special guest, Robert Hays (Airplane!)
with Arthur B. Rubinstein’s symphonic setting
