Anything Goes Show and Q&A

A musical written, composed, and presented by Yalies! Event organized by Yale in Hollywood.

Join us for a Yale in Hollywood group trip to see the musical Anything Goes at the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown LA.

Anything Goes is so Yale, with several Yale tie-ins:

  • Cole Porter, its composer / lyricist, is a Yalie who composed the Bulldog football fight song, was an original member of the Whiffenpoofs, and served as president of the Yale Glee Club. He's like Yale royalty!
  • The Eli Whitney character appears in the first 5 minutes singing Bulldog fight chants and sporting a Handsome Dan plush toy
  • Co-writer John Weidman also went to Yale

Yalie Jeffrey Uprah is general manager of the Ahmanson Theatre, and will join us for a short Q&A about the show. Also, we are going to invite a Yalie cast member to join us too, TBD.
