Career Connections 2013 - Canceled

Help Shape the Future by Volunteering with a Career Exploration Opportunity

By simply talking about your career, you can change the life of a student. Unfortunately, many students in urban areas don’t know enough about various career fields to make informed career decisions.

You can help students overcome this challenge!

Join the Yale Black Alumni Association of Los Angeles (YBAA –LA) and the Yale Club of Los Angeles (YCLA) and serve as a volunteer during a career exploration opportunity for middle school students. As a volunteer, you will participate in a panel discussion at an LA area middle school on February 27, 2013, and/or host a job shadowing activity for middle school students at your worksite during the week of March 25, 2013.

For more information or to volunteer for this exciting event, contact Sheryl Carter Negash at yaleservice.ybaa@gmail.com.

Career Connections 2013 is a youth career explorations project held in honor of Black History Month.
