Title Financial Analyst

Financial Analysis
  • Perform sophisticated cash flow analysis and income statement projections for office leasing, (sub-leasing), building acquisitions, and building dispositions covering a broad range of investment products including office, industrial, and retail.
  • Perform credit analysis of potential lessees
  • Analyze income statements and credit of companies 
  • Prepare pro forma and property valuations for individual buildings and real estate portfolios for pitches and listings 
  • Knowledge and ability to analyze and structure different real estate transactions
  • Assist in the evaluation of alternative transaction structures including both leveraged and unleveraged scenarios
  • Abstract leases, partnership agreements, and other pertinent legal documents
  • Compile data on comparable rental rates and transaction details
  • Assist brokers in marketing efforts, specifically with the financial analyses included in marketing materials
  • Manage, write, and create presentations in support of tenant representation assignments, agency assignments, and new business pitches 
  • Ensure that all packages for new business development proposals and offering memorandum are professionally prepared, comprehensive, and accurate in terms of deal structure alternatives, due diligence research, readability, and visual impact
  • Prepare marketing proposals for new business in conjunction with the graphics arts team
  • Conduct and write market research summaries relative to a property's competitive market position, strengths, weakness, and long term profitability potential
  • Research, analyze, and draft summary reports relative to a specific property's location, economic environment, market conditions, and product position to utilize in the offering memorandum
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Business, Finance or Economics preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years of finance or commercial real estate related work experience
  • Well-developed financial modeling skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong math and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Argus (or other discounted cash flow program), and CoStar
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects in a timely and thorough manner
  • Awareness of and interest in local and national economic and real estate conditions
  • Has, or is willing to work towards obtaining, a real estate salesperson’s license
  • The successful candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, extremely professional, and customer service-oriented
