EEK! at The Greek Halloween Concert
   
Symphony In The Glen featuring Arthur B. Rubinstein & Armin Shimerman. YaleLA members get $10.00 off admission.

On Saturday, October 24, Arthur B. Rubinstein (’58), Symphony In The Glen and Nederlander Concerts will summon goblins, ghouls and all things ghostly to the Greek Theatre for a symphonic Halloween extravaganza for the whole family. Joining the festivities this year will be Armin Shimerman (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and the fabulous Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.

4:30 PM – FESTIVITIES BEGIN 

Trick-or-treating, fun activities and children’s costume contest at “Trick-or-treat Village” on the plaza.
 
7:00 PM – SYMPHONY CONCERT

Maestro Rubinstein and the 60-piece Symphony In The Glen orchestra present A Creepy Collection of Frightening Favorites including:

 

  • GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY with The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles
  • RIDE OF THE VALKYRIES – Richard Wagner
  • THE SWAN OF TUONELA – Jean Sibelius
  • URANUS (The Magician) – Gustav Holst
  • THE DEVIL’S DANCE from The Witches of Eastwick – John Williams
  • Armin Shimerman (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Buffy The Vampire Slayer) narrates Edgar Allan Poe’s THE TELL-TALE HEART with Arthur B. Rubinstein’s music for orchestra and narrator.
