Emotional Intelligence: From Theory to Practice featuring Professor Marc Brackett

Join us as Professor Marc Brackett, Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, speaks to us about Yale’s pioneering work in this field!

How are you feeling? It’s not an idle question. Are you bored? Stressed? Enthusiastic? The idea that emotions matter and matter a great deal - from learning to decision making to relationships to mental health to everyday effectiveness - will be the theme of Professor Marc Brackett's presentation.

Professor Brackett heads the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and will describe the five key skills of emotional intelligence and the Center’s evidence-based approach to teaching emotional intelligence in schools and organizations. How training in emotional intelligence enhances school climate, well-being, and academic performance will be discussed. Jason Wolff and Lucy Wild will be our gracious hosts.
