Description: Date and Time: Sat, 09/29/2012 - 10:15am - 2:00pm Location: Adult Center: 412 South Raymond Avenue Pasadena, CA 91105 Web site: http://www.unionstationhs.org Description: We will provide and serve clients of the Union Station Homeless Services with healthy, nutritious,and well-prepared lunch meals. Volunteers will be cooking and serving food, setting and cleaning up tables, washing pots and pans, chopping vegetables and meats, sorting donated foods, cleaning counters, and more. PARTICIPANTS: Volunteers should be over 16 years of age APPROPRIATE ATTIRE: - Please wear casual clothes that you don't mind getting dirty in the kitchen. This includes short sleeved shirts and closed-toed shoes. - Hair nets will be provided or you can bring a baseball cap to cover your hair. - No sandals or flip flops. - No tank tops, shorts, or mini skirts. PARKING: - Limited parking on site. - Parking is available on the street for 2 hours. We suggest that you can move your car during the service. - Public transportation is encouraged.
